I came into this world as a creative individual, drawing on the walls of my parents’ home, making my own doll houses, my own clothing, and eventually being selected to enter the prestigious Carnegie Museum of Art at the age of 10 for my artistic ability and studying at Carnegie Mellon University. Also, I have an intense love for cooking and started cooking professionally early in life. However, I found that my true passion was in the arts, specifically glass art, and became a Master Glass Artist which led to a wonderful career in the fashion world. Yes, glass in the fashion world!
So, how did I develop Sables' aux Fleurs?
My mother taught me the love for all things growing in nature. She is a Master Gardener (certified in 2 states) and raised our family in a home surrounded with incredible gardens. So, I guess, a little of her rubbed off on me (smile). I learned to bake from my grandmother starting at a very early age on our family farm during the summers that I spent with her. She was also an incredible gardener. Just naturally combining my love for decorating, fashion, cooking, baking, and cultivating the gardens at my own home, it was inevitable that my cookies were born.
I am proud to now bring to you Sables' aux Fleurs!
