Popular cookie company introduces custom edible printed designs, allowing customers to put any image on their baked treats.

Sables Aux Fleurs, known for their melt-in-your-mouth shortbread and sugar cookies in creative shapes and flavors, has launched a new service that takes customization to the next level. The company's brand new "Picture Cookie" service allows customers to upload any image, like a family photo or company logo, to be printed directly onto a freshly baked cookie using edible ink.

"Picture Cookies open up so many possibilities for creative gift-giving and self-expression through baked goods," said artist Cristine Hynes. "Now our customers can put their children's faces on cookies for a birthday surprise, print a company logo, real estate gifts for a delicious corporate event, weddings/anniversary/bridal, pets, Mother’s Day, graduation, special events or simply make cookies more personal by adding their favorite image."

The full-color edible printing process allows for photographic quality images that make each cookie totally unique. While novelty cookies have been available in the past, this new service offers a much higher degree of personalization and flexibility.

The printed cookies will initially be available in Sables signature sugar cookie, with their thick and sweet texture providing the perfect tasty canvas. A single cookie costs $4 while bulk orders of a dozen or more come with discounts.

Sables Aux Fleurs is celebrating the launch by encouraging people to send their most hilarious or heartfelt photos to be immortalized in edible form.
